Boathouse Volunteer George Duesdieker
George is a third-generation San Francisco native but only found rowing in 2004 when his eldest daughter began rowing at Stanford Rowing Center. After his younger daughter began rowing in 2008, George picked up an erg handle and then an oar, and has been rowing ever since. The younger daughter went on to row at UC San Diego. George went to the University of San Francisco (B.S. 1977), and then went to law school at the newly re-named UC Law - San Francisco (J.D. 1980). He practiced law prominently as in-house counsel at Sprint and later independently represented plaintiffs in employment cases.
